FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Not sure what to expect? Here are answers to some of the questions you may have before getting started.
Your consultation is a chance for us to talk about what you need help with, what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’d like to accomplish. We’ll discuss the space or service you’re interested in, your priorities, and any questions you may have. From there, I’ll recommend the best next step for your reset.
We’ll start by talking about the space you’d like to work on and what you’d like to accomplish. We’ll also look at what isn’t working for you—maybe things are difficult to find, certain areas have become cluttered, items don’t have a designated place, or the space simply isn’t functioning the way you need it to.From there, we’ll work together to sort through your belongings, decide what stays, and determine where things make the most sense. Then we’ll create practical organizing solutions based on your space, your belongings, and the way you actually live. The goal isn’t just to make the space look organized—it’s to make it easier to use, easier to maintain, and better suited to your everyday life.
For most organizing sessions, yes—at least for part of the time. We’ll be making decisions together about what you want to keep, what you’re ready to let go of, and how you’d like your space to function.Once we’ve made those decisions and have a clear plan, there may be parts of the project I can complete on my own.
No. There is no need to purchase organizing products before your session. During our consultation, we will look at your space, what you already have, and what would work best for you. Whenever possible, we will make use of items you already own. If additional products would make the space more functional, I can recommend options that fit your needs and budget and, with your approval, purchase them for your project.
As we organize, we’ll decide what to keep, donate, or discard. If you have items to donate, I’m happy to take a load to a local donation center for you. Household trash will be bagged and placed in your trash containers. For larger items or anything requiring special disposal, I can help you determine the best next step.
